The New Media Center at the University of Mary Washington was recently founded to provide important online instructional resources to students and instructors. It is run by the Division of Teaching and Learning Technologies, and covers subjects from video editing to social media.

Because UMW has such a rich history, the logo for the New Media Center needed to incorporate traditional elements while still maintaining a clean, technological look. A historic white column accompanies neat, modern text to capture this feel.
